Hi, I’m Alesia — the heart behind Captured by Alesia, a photographer, a mother, a dreamer, and someone who truly believes that the most meaningful moments in life deserve to be remembered.
 

I’m a proud mom to one incredible little boy and a soon-to-be mom of two. My journey into photography started long before I ever imagined it could become my career. As a young kid, I loved taking pictures with my iPod Touch. What started as a simple childhood hobby slowly planted a seed of creativity and ambition inside of me — a feeling that would stay with me for years.

At 21, I decided it was time to turn that childhood passion into something more. I wanted to build a career doing something that allowed me to create, connect with people, and preserve the moments that matter most.
 

But life took me through some incredibly difficult chapters before I found my way here.
 

After my son spent time in the NICU, I lost my full-time job, and financially, things became incredibly difficult. Then, in February of 2026, I experienced one of the deepest losses of my life when my mother passed away from cancer. Only days after her passing, I found out I was pregnant with another baby. 
 

Becoming a young mom of two without my mother's support was heartbreaking, but it also gave me a reason to fight harder than I ever had before. I began Captured by Alesia with one goal in mind: to create a way to provide for my kids while building something that was truly my own.
 

Our journey hasn't always been easy. There were moments when we faced homelessness, hunger, uncertainty, and the reality of having very little support around us. Photography became more than a career for me — it became a way forward.

It gave me the opportunity to care for my son, rebuild our lives, and turn some of the darkest moments into something beautiful.

Through photography, I've found a light in rooms that once felt incredibly dark. It has brought back a sense of imagination that I hadn't felt since childhood and reminded me that there is still so much beauty to create and experience.
 

Today, I have the privilege of creating that same magic for other people.
 

Whether I'm photographing a couple in love, a growing family, a milestone, or a once-in-a-lifetime celebration, I want my clients to walk away with more than beautiful photographs. I want them to have pieces of their lives they can hold onto forever.

And through all of this, I am incredibly grateful for my wonderful and supportive fiancé. He has been one of the people who continues to remind me that my work is a superpower — especially on the days when I forget it myself. His encouragement means more to me than words can express.
 

Outside of photography, I'm a lover of singing, social media, nature, horses, and shopping. I'm proudly from Boston, Massachusetts, and I absolutely love the energy and excitement of city life.
 

At the end of the day, I'm just a mom who turned a childhood dream into a purpose.
 

Captured by Alesia isn't just my business. It's a piece of my story — built from love, resilience, imagination, and the belief that even the hardest chapters can lead to something beautiful.
